Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Quality

  • Strategy development and execution: seeking innovative ways to improve, deploying innovation strategy.
  • Foster and develop innovation opportunities in partnership with the VP of Quality Assurance, our CEO’s, and Senior Leadership team.
  • Provide oversight for the execution of innovation opportunities.
  • Deploy quality assurance systems and performance benchmarks to monitor and continuously improve processes.
  • Refine internal processes to ensure operational and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide guidance to management on process development and conformance.
  • Oversee Root-Cause-Failure (RCF) initiatives to correct process anomalies or flaws and address areas of non-compliance.
  • Oversee the implementation of Irreversible Corrective Measures (ICA) to limit process non-conformities, reduce operational impact, and increase resiliency.
  • Act as the onsite subject matter expert for Process Compliance Records and site Solutions Knowledge Base.
  • Collaborate with relevant department heads to ensure successful internal and external audit scores.

Innovation

  • Lead all innovation opportunities and projects for the HCC.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and deliver strategic plans to implement changes.
  • Support our business partner Heathrow with future strategic growth of the HCC.
  • Lead and manage incentivized projects as directed by our customer leadership team (internal and external stakeholders).
  • Execute strategic planning in conjunction with the CEO and/or co-CEO and other stakeholders.
  • Proactively seek out improvement opportunities and build business cases for associated costs.
  • Utilize data and analytics to identify and deliver process and operational improvements.
  • Support execution and stakeholder communication, ensuring successful outcomes for all determined projects and opportunities.

Business as Usual:

  • Actively participate in the Monthly Management Review (MMR) and customer meetings, including monthly and quarterly reviews with HAL (as required).
  • Coach, mentor, and support all levels of management to achieve operational excellence in Innovation Development, Innovation Execution, Project Management, and Process Control activities.
  • Act as the “gatekeeper” of knowledge-based solutions stored in our AMIS™ system.

Essential Qualifications:

✔ Prince2 Qualification or other relevant Project Management qualification  

✔ Exposure to and/or active use of efficiency improvement principles such as Lean or Six-Sigma is desirable  

✔Certified internal audit qualification is desirable (or relevant experience)

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

✔ Strategic Innovation and Change Management experience  

✔ Extensive project management and team leadership  

✔ Root-cause-failure analysis expertise  

✔ Quality and process control audit experience  

✔ Professional acumen with executives and diverse teams  

✔ Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness  

✔ Ability to drive change with internal and external teams  

✔ Proficiency with Visio (or similar tools)  

✔ Experience in procedural development and innovation execution  

✔ Collaborative and confident communicator  

✔ Budget management experience  

✔ Benchmarking against external standards  

✔ Regulated environment experience (desirable)  

✔ Unionised environment experience (desirable)  

✔ Logistics, FMCG, or retail experience (desirable)
