Key Responsibilities:
System Administration and Maintenance
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain and optimize the healthcare department’s IT infrastructure.
- Ensure all IT systems and applications are up-to-date and reflect the precise requirements of the department.
User Support and Troubleshooting
- Proactively provide technical support to healthcare staff via telephone and in-person.
- Conduct initial troubleshooting to assess and resolve IT issues.
- Dispatch necessary updates and follow up to ensure timely resolution of technical problems.
Network and Security Management
- Build and manage a robust network infrastructure in alignment with the guidance provided by the IT Manager.
- Ensure network security protocols are followed, and conduct regular reviews to verify the integrity of the system.
New Technology Implementation and Training
- When new technologies are introduced, work closely with the IT Manager to integrate them into the healthcare department’s systems.
- Serve as the main point of contact during the implementation process, ensuring smooth communication and a seamless transition.
- Provide training to healthcare staff on new systems and technologies.
Administrative and Reporting Duties
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT records in the IT management system or similar database.
- Generate regular reports on the status and performance of IT systems.
- Ensure adherence to relevant data protection regulations and protocols.
Essential Qualifications:
✔ Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
✔ 5+ years' experience in a similar role
✔ Proficiency in IT software and tools
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Ability to provide on-site support
