Key Responsibilities
System Administration
- Maintain and monitor the organization's IT systems, ensuring they run efficiently and effectively.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
User Support
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues to minimize disruption.
- Document support requests and resolutions in the helpdesk system for future reference.
Network Management
- Configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and enforce security protocols to protect the organization’s data and conduct regular security audits.
Software & Hardware Deployment
- Install, configure, and upgrade software applications and operating systems.
- Set up and maintain hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals, ensuring accurate inventory tracking.
Training & Documentation
- Train end-users on IT systems and applications to enhance their competency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and system manuals.
Project Support
- Assist in planning and executing IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and solutions, monitoring project progress and reporting on status to management.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with relevant IT policies, standards, and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to best practices and continuously improve IT processes and procedures.
Essential Qualifications:
✔ Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
✔ Previous experience in IT system support or a similar role.
✔ Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
✔ Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support.
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
